The past two weeks had been filled with many exciting events that went in both ways. As much as I try to be that “all angelic nice guy”, I’ve came to realize that it is really not sustainable. There’s just some jerks out there, who are out to take advantage! So… I’d be selectively nice, and make sure karma finds its ways to those who needs a wake up call!
I’m sure all of you have that one bitch that you want to smack too! Who doesn’t?
One nice encounter I had was the “invited food tasting session” at Charly T’s I12 Katong outlet. If you’ve not been to Katong for some time, the plot of land I12 Katong is sitting on used to be that of Katong Mall.
Katong has a reputation for being home to authentic Nonya cuisine. Over the years, many joins have made a name for themselves including the famous Katong laksa. Situated at the heart of the Katong food street, I12 introduces a new category of food to the Katong food mix.
Source: http://bpdgtravels.blogspot.com
Unlike Parkway Parade which places a great emphasis on retail outlets, I12 Katong strives to find its niche, through housing some of the biggest names in the restaurant & cafe business.
I’ve brisked past Charly T‘s outlet at NOMU (beside cathay) several times en-route to Plaza Singapura. However, the (wrong) perception that I always had, is that this place is damn “atas” and will definitely burn a hole in my pocket.

I was privileged to receive a food-tasting invite from Charly T’s two wednesdays ago, at it’s new outlet at I12 Katong. This really changed the earlier wrong perceptions I had about Charly T’s.
The pricing here is actually quite competitive (comparable and in some cases less expensive than Kenny Rogers) and the food is really tastebud teasing… (in a good way of course!)

Charly T’s spots a unique ordering process where, customers will first place their orders at the counter (fast-food style), before proceeding on to their seats. And…. Best of all, there is NO SERVICE CHARGE here..

OMG! Looking at this menu again, two weeks after savoring CharlyT’s signature rotisserie chicken MAKES ME DROOL!!!

LOOK WHAT I SPOTTED!!!! MACAROONS!!!!!
A little confession to make here… I’ve never eaten macaroons in my life…. DON’T LAUGH!
Care for a macaroon date anyone? ^_^

And here is some of the other desert selections that CharlyT’s offers. (PS: Their signature deserts are actually not displayed, because they’re made fresh!)

As you walk in to the I12 Katong outlet, you will notice the open concept kitchen of Charly’T, allowing customers to see the action in the kitchen. I’m sure the kids will love this!

Besides the open concept kitchen, the I12 Katong outlet also spots a private room, furnished with Peranakan-styled furniture. The atmosphere makes it really good for birthdays and family gatherings…

A really heart warming experience for those who cherish simplicity and privacy…

I12 Katong spots a unique architecture with several outlets boasting a balcony for an outdoor alfresco experience. One of these units is Charly T’s, which opens till late on certain nights, screening various premier league matches live!

Charly T’s food story is extremely unique where Charly is the main character. He will travel around the world to capture unique tastes which eventually makes it to the menu. This poster on this wall highlights the journey that Charly has taken.

The in-charge from CharlyT’s was really nice and sensitive to details, making sure that we felt at home while we were there. This is my drink, a Citrus fresh juice blend. It’s really refreshing and I highly recommend it before a meal.. It will really help open your appetite.
Eating fruits before a meal might actually help you lose weight, amongst other health benefits. Find out more from this post at http://www.fredericpatenaude.com/fruit-article.html

Charly T’s Red Tang Odysseys (made up of a blend of Strawberry, cranberry and lychee)

Charly T’s Green Flash Odysseys (made up of a blend of Green apple, orange and pineapple)
The perks of being a blogger on food-tasting is that you get to try everything… Haha! Following are the four types of Rotisserie Chicken that Charly T’s is famous for. Quite frankly, they all looked the same… until you actually taste it!
Try to guess which is which from the following options. I’ve attached the prices too just in case you’re interested. My favorite is definitely the Kampong Chicken! It’s such a rare find these days!
- Charly T’s Famous Rotisserie Chicken (Original Recipe)
$13 (quarter chicken + 2 additions), $24+ (half chicken + 3 additions) & $42+ (whole chicken + 4 additions) - Charly T’s Famous Rotisserie Chicken (Kampong Chicken)
$15+ (quarter chicken + 2 additions), $27+ (half chicken + 3 additions) & $46+ (whole chicken + 4 additions) - Charly T’s Famous Rotisserie Chicken (New Flavours: Black Pepper)
$15+ (quarter chicken + 2 additions), $27+ (half chicken + 3 additions) & $46+ (whole chicken + 4 additions) - Charly T’s Famous Rotisserie Chicken (New Flavours: Kansas City BBQ)
$15+ (quarter chicken + 2 additions), $27+ (half chicken + 3 additions) & $46+ (whole chicken + 4 additions)

Talking about rare find, one of the secrets behind CharlyT’s success it that the chicken used here are all fresh chicken, instead of the normal frozen ones. I’ve tried searching the internet to see if there’s really a difference but most sites say “NO DIFFERENCE”.
So I decided to ask my mom (a retired chef of Raffles Hotel), and after some hesitation, she decided to reveal some of her long kept secrets (I’m sharing it here because she doesn’t read my blog! haha!!) :
- Frozen Chicken will have black bones, while Fresh chicken bones are white
- The texture of Frozen Chicken might be a little tougher to bite
- Sometimes Frozen chicken will have a smell

These are the four different type so sauces to go with the chicken. So colorful and pretty…

When you order each chicken set, it will also come with two sides.

German Potato Salad

Macaroni & Cheese

Fresh Vegetables

Butter Garlic Rice

Fellow bloggers busy taking photographs of the yummy food.. hahaa…

I think it’s an open secret now… But if you don’t already know.. I’m on diet.. So here’s my fine-dining portion of the food. Ever since I was little, I am quite a visual person and I always like to decorate my food before I eat them. So here’s my attempt of decorating all my sides. haha…

This Shao Rou (燒肉) look-a-like is called Kalua Pork. A quick wiki-search revealed that Kalua is actually a hawaiian cooking method.

Dry as it looks, but this piece of pork is one of the softest and most tender I’ve tried to date (only comparable to those I had in Paris).

And after putting it into your mouth… It just melts like an ice-cube would in your mouth! Oh… Mama-mia~

This is the Jumbo Schnitzel Burger… Sinful but really delicious~

This is the Hot Tangy Wings. But don’t be scared off by it’s name… It’s not really that spicy… Definitely not the kind (of hot) as compared to the famous Sunset Grill @ Seletar Airbase

Another of CT’s signature, the CT’s Beef Burger. It was quite funny because all of us were quite full already by the time we reached this item. And we decided to ask the chef to help us cut it into four pieces… And when it came.. We continued chit-chatting and someone was like “the juice is all flowing out”… haha…
So the next time you eat this, make sure you eat it while it’s hot and don’t cut it in four.. haha.. But it’s really nice and soo well cooked that it’s still really tender even when it was cold (by the time we got to eating it).

Finally…. What we’ve all been waiting for… It’s desert time!!!
The first desert item is the Kaiserschmarrn (aka. Emperor’s Mishmash) – a warm and fluffy caramelized pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar, raisins and served with a generous scoop of French Vanilla ice cream. This is my favorite of the two, and I thought it is a wonderful supper treat if you just wanted to catch up with friends after dinner.

This is the pretty ice-cream that I was talking about.

Last but not least, this is the Mocha Cheesecake that’s only available during the mothers’ day period. More details below.
I’m really glad to see the increase in emphasis on men’s fashion in Singapore. Quite frankly, I’m very new in this industry and am learning bit by bit, day by day.
Always having been a nerd (and still am) all my life, my interest in fashion only started while I was in National Service (NS); where my upper-study was a model. He taught me some stuff about personal grooming, fashion, and the entertainment industry, wetting my appetite for this multi-faceted industry.

Through my friends in the industry, I had the privilege to attend many events in the entertainment industry over the past year, but the Men’s Fashion Week was an eye opener. Running on a SGD8 million dollar budget with some of the biggest names in fashion present to witness the event, expectations are sky high.

One of the VPs of Marina Bay Sands giving a speech at the closing ceremony event. One of the more memorable comments he made was that he only had concrete rooms to let out, but the magic happens when a slice of creativity is added to turn concrete into gold.

Chairman of the event, Frank Cintamani giving a speech

The invited VVIPs… I’d make my way there someday! and I’d bring one of my readers along!

All the mega-cameras…
It seems that this year’s style spots many animal prints (leopard, zebra, etc) and studs… I might be designing my own shirts really soon… Keep a look out! ^_^

Post event photography of Calvin Timo and MHisham

No that’s not me (hate the pimple outbreak! ugh!), Calvin Timo, and Darren Ang.

We headed to Coffee Bean Restaurant after the event for supper.

My favorite Caesar Salad. But they put too much sauce making it really salty.. Beside that, it was awesome!

Wanted to order my favorite “black-forest” drink, but they ran out of cherries, so I had to make do with Caramel Mocha instead.

And yes…. We went to camwhore after that… This is Claire…
Ok.. That’s all for the mens’s fashion week since I only went on the last day during the closing ceremony…

Went down to JCube the following day to host a blogger at our new outlet. Do visit JCut@JCube if you want a japanese style cut at the convenience of not having to travel to town. [From left: Ivan (Hairstylist), Pei Shi (Blogger), our new stylist, and Joanne (Hairstylist)]

Was invited to attend the Aveda Charity Walk the next morning at the Botanical Garden. (From Left: Staff and hairstylists of Jeric Salon)

Kai Ting, Director of Jeric Salon (Ion).

I was privileged to be invited to the “New Crocs New You Fashion Show” at Vivo City last weekend by the great folks of OMY.SG; braving the impending exams and a partially recovered physique (moi was quick sick the day earlier ๏̯͡๏).
You will find the style of this post slightly different from my regular writing, because this post is also going into the OMY Blog Club’s site too! ツ ….. Yes, I’m a new kid on the block with healthy blog traffic….

Went down to Jeric Salon to get my hair done up before going down to Vivo City. Of course right… How can the official blogger of a Salon have cui hair right.. *grins*
Ok.. I’m still learning more about hair day by day and hopefully one day I will know how to cut… Just for the fun of it. ^_^

Hahaha… Sitting like a buddha or high monk! Amen!

This is Paul, one of the hair stylists at Jeric Salon… His photo on the salon website is very very old.. Haha.. I told him if he updated his photo, he’d have many young female customers.. haha… Don’t you agree?

Tada! Changing hair color back to Ash-Green. The cool thing about it is that it will fade to blue a week later.. So technically I will have a new hair color in one week’s time..

Say Hi! to Kai, my buddy, hairstylist, and Director of Jeric Salon (Ion Orchard). I highly recommend him for your hair cuts, not just because he’s my friend, but he really does a good job. The fact that his appointments are always packed says something.

OMG.. I reached Vivo 15 minutes late and see… So many customers at the Crocs outlet… Was happy to meet a few bloggers and new friends (Silver Ang, Calvin Timo, Darren Ang, Dionna Zhao & more) that day.

Yes, these are Crocs shoes… Didn’t expect right?

This time round, they invited professional photographers to the event too… I was telling Calvin, let’s just go make friends with him and ask him share his photos with us.. hahaa…

Wahhhh…. SO many people…

This is MINT, the host for the event, with Kovit Ang, a stylist that Crocs hired for the event..

The new series of crocs shoes is really fashionable, unlike the “slipper/sandal versions” which we’re used to seeing.

Something that you ladies can wear for a date on a warm Saturday afternoon and still look sweet.

Or… on dress-down fridays to work, before heading to that party after that… Crocs now comes with a Heels series too…

Or this… Something more formal… A weekend getaway to the Yatch Club to catch up with friends….

The beach outfit with the new series of Crocs for ladies.

Or something more Chic for the poolside party…

Office shoes from Crocs that you can wear even in the more formal settings.

Girls… I’m quite sure you’d agree that he is Undisputedly the cutest guy model for this show… Right… (I am straight btw! -.-)

Tada! One last showcase the latest series of shoes from Crocs. Do visit http://www.crocs.com.sg/ to check out more… I was surprised to find so many designs especially for the female crowd… Even got Leopard prints! Wootx!

All invited bloggers were given a vouchers from Crocs where we can choose any Crocs shoes we want within $150. Unfortunately can’t get it on the same day because the store was very crowded.
So here’s the list of Crocs outlets in Singapore if you’re interested to head down immediately to have a look:
|
Tampines Mall |
Plaza Singapura |
Marina Square |
||
|
Marina Bay Sands |
Vivo City |
Isetan Scotts |
||
|
Isetan Wisma |
United Square Kids |
Changi City Point Outlet |
So I decided to head down to the Tampines outlet which is the nearest from my place. I heard from Calvin that Plaza Singapura (there’s a Jeric Salon there too! haha.. ) is actually their flagship store. See what I saw…

Oh my… So cute… No idea what they’re called… So I shall just name them “Crocsformers”! hahaa…

Wondering where to get those cute little things to attach to your Crocs, they have in in stall now under the Jibbit brand-name.

For the guys who don’t mind walking around with these cutelets on your crocs.

For the ladies… This is the ultimate weapon to make your crocs look super cute, earning the envy of all your friend!

The new series of Crocs street wear. I picked the green one and it’s really awesome! Because it’s made of rubber instead of cloth, that makes it almost stain proof! I dripped some sauce on the white part the other day by accident, and all it took was a wipe using a wet-tissue and the stain dissapeared!

This is the leather series. I think it’s quite nice to wear, with a pair of shorts and polo-tee to town on a Sunday with Le-Girlfriend for her shopping trip. ^_^ (ya! I’m imagining ok! still single… anyone want?)

Hahahaha… Spotted this pair that is certainly a “dad’s favorite”.

If you prefer the traditional cloth street shoes, they have it too.. One thing I like about the Crocs version is that it’s side is quite solid, so it won’t chip off so easily compared to the usual one..
You know.. Like when you squat down and have to bend the front part, after sometime sure cui! You know what I talking about lah! Don’t know then… Tweet me and ask me!

Don’t know you size, this will help you. Note that Crocs has a special size system similar to the US shoe sizes, but not 100%. Might want to take note ya. Especially when buying for friends.

Colgate (the stylist) recommended the series on the top (purple/white/pink) for clubbing because it’s cute and comfortable. I kind of agree with him on that. Imagine clubbing with heels? Quite frankly I don’t understand why girls wear heels to club, except using it as a weapon against perverted guys who try to take advantage behind their backs.

No idea why the doctor/nurse photo there.. But Crocs is amazingly popular amongst dentist and doctors. I’ve a few dentist friends who always slip into their pair of crocs the moment the change into their gown to start work.

This is my new crocs street-style shoe. After posting it on Twitter and Instagram, I’ve gotten quite a number of people asking me where to get and how much. It’s going at about $115 and comes in three colors.
Just in case you didn’t already know… I love my readers a lot and always try to get something for all of you! This is a giveaway I did on Sunday night to a lucky winner on my twitter account.
Don’t worry if you missed it, Crocs has something else for all. They’ve having this make over contest and if you win, the prizes are quite attractive. And if you don’t want to travel all the way to the store, you can use the Crocs Mix and Match Mobile app (available on iPhone and Android) to view the wide array of options and even try them on virtually. I’m writing this post targeted at GUYS since Naomi is going to write one for girls tonight. ^_^
And please don’t ask me to introduce Naomi to you (although you are interested to 顺便 know me too!) hahaha…
In a slightly different tone from Naomi’s, I will be talking about a topic that I’m quite good at “What girls really wants from guys“. Just like girls, guys too have the type of girl they want to date, and those that they want to marry.

^ The girls we want to marry

^ The girls we want to date
The Ideal Woman that every man expects………..
- She will always be beautiful and cheerful. She could marry a movie star but she wants only him.
- She will have hair that never needs curlers or beauty shops.
- Her beauty won’t run in a rainstorm.
- She will never be sick, just allergic to jewellry and fur coats.
- She will insist that moving the furniture is good for her figure.
- She will be an expert in cooking, cleaning, fixing the car, painting and keeping quiet.
- Her hobbies will be mowing the lawn and washing dishes.
- She will hate credit cards.
- Her favourite expression will be “What can I do for you dear?”.
- She will think you are a genius and look like her favourite movie star.
- She will ask you to go out with the boys so she can get some housework done.
- She will love you because you are so sexy.
My job is business development and technical consultanting, and that trains me to be very practical and down to earth about things. If you want something, you have to have something to offer. But be realistic!

Although looks gives us an added advantage, but all they really expect is neat. You don’t have to have those bodies to attract the girl of your dream!
Girls put on make up because guys are attracted by what they see.
Guys tell lies because girls are attracted by what they hear.
But a wise girl will listen to what you have to say, and see what you put into action, before deciding if you’re someone she can trust to depend on, or live with, for the remaining years.

What girls want from guys
All that a girl really want is a guy who would.…….
- move their hair away from their eyes and then kiss them
- hold their hands in line at the movies, making other girls jealous
- sing to them at random moments
- let her sleep on their chest
- protect her from all the cruelties of this world
- dance with her in the rain and smile at those watching
- make her laugh without even trying
- take her to the park and put his hands around her waist, giving her a big bear hug all the time
- never afraid to say “I Love You” to her infront of his family and friends
- argue over silly things then then make up
- kiss her at midnight on new years and sit with her to watch the sunrise
- stay at home with her on a friday night just to help her make dinner and watch a home movie together
- tell her she is beautiful, just the way she is
- be there for here when she needs him
- treat her with respect
- support her through the good times and bad
And most importantly…. be her best friend and never break her heart!
The Five Must Knows for Guys
A man must know how to cook
Cooking is no longer a chore of a woman. Guys today are expected to cook alongside their wife. (And it’s pretty romantic too! Don’t you think?) They used to say “to capture a man’s heart, you must first conquer his stomach”. However in this 21st century, guys wearing an apron with the ability to whip up a sumptuous meal is especially appetizing to girls.
A man must know his flowers & chocolates
Flowers and chocolates are a necessity in any relationship. No matter how unwilling she is towards accepting your flower, prepare to be crucified if you miss sending her flowers on an important occasion. Know what each flower and its associated color means will definitely be a plus point!
A man must know geography
Girls cannot stand it when they are the ones making all the decisions for dates, and the guy is always bringing her walking in circles (especially when she’s wearing heels!). Therefore, before you go out on a date with your girl, do sufficient research on the area, such that in the event that the dinner place is close, you know of an alternative and where are the convenient stores just in chase she needed to buy something for that time of the month.
A man must know tolerance
Guys must understand that girls can be temperamental at times and it’s simply not their fault. No matter how ridiculous the matter is or how unreasonable she is, the guy should always try to understand his girl’s habits and try to work things out nicely. Be a gentleman, apologize first even if you are not in the wrong. This simple gesture goes a long way, and she will appreciate you even more!
A man must know his girl
This is the most important aspect in maintaining a relationship! Girls are very observant. Remember the details. As the saying goes, it’s the little things that build up! When you become more observant and remember even the slightest detail, it is easier to give her surprises that she’d love you for!
28 Golden Rules to maintain that relationship and attracting her
Be honest
Honesty is the best policy. Relationships are built on trust.
Be real
Don’t put on a fake front and act like something you are not. Truth will see the light.
Be gallant and gentlemanly
Hold the door, pull the chair (not her hair!), & etc…
Be conscious of your appearance
Neat hair, ironed cloths, and no BO! She probably spent 1 hour dressing up before meeting you. Please at least return the respect.
Be punctual
or better yet, early for all dates.
Be a MAN!
Take the lead and be the one who initiates. If your girl has to plan your date, you’re a LOSER!
Be generous
Never go on dutch on the first date and special occasions
Be patient
Girls tend to take a longer time the bathroom.
Be sensitive
It is what guys lack, and all girls look out for.
Be a good listener
Sometimes when girls talk, they just wanted someone to pour their heart out to. They weren’t looking for a solution
Be tactful
Refrain from making unnecessary negative remarks (e.g. you’ve been eating a lot lately?)
Be observant
Take note of what she might take an interest to and surprise her with a small gift every now and then. Girls love surprises and it keeps the spark going.
Be knowledgeable
Know enough to make her go WOW! But don’t make her feel stupid talking to you! It’s a fine line.
Be humorous
It’d help them forget all the stress and enjoy being around you. Humor results in happiness.
Be respectful
Never belittle her opinions and taste. When she says no, respect it.
Be sweet.
like offering to send her to her doorstep.
Be faithful
Never drool over other girls in front of her
Be caring
Send her a text every few hours to make sure she’s fine. NOT STALK HER AND SEND HER AN SMS EVERY TWO MINUTES!
Be helpful
Run errands for her, such as return her library books, when she’s really busy.
Be her “galfriend”
Do gal things with her once in a while, such as offering to go shopping with her and carrying her shopping bags.
Be amiable
Get along with her family and friends.
Be accommodating
Petty fights are inevitable, but try to give in whenever necessary.
Be aware of your priorities
Never rank her lower than the first place on your “to-do” list. Not what you dirty minds thinK!
Be expressive
Always tell you that you love her and hold her hands when walking with her. Be proud of her!
Never be forgetful
It’s important to remember all the dates of those special occasions (e.g. anniversaries, etc). If you want to go the extra mile, remember her parents’ birthday and drop them a call at home on those days to wish them happy birthday. It goes a long way.
Never be clueless
Always be aware of how your girl is feeling and act accordingly. It’s always nice to have a shoulder to cry on.
Never be too controlling
You don’t own her and she doesn’t need a second dad.
Be there for her.
Isn’t that what a relationship is all about?
Do drop me a comment to let me know what you think about my recommendation and check my TWITTER (@darrensim) for your daily dose of my love quotes!
This is a way long overdue post that should have came out last week!!!! Sorry!!!!
I’m really excited that I’ve visited JCube on it’s opening last monday. I went there right after school to meet Jeric.. and… When I came out of Jurong East MRT station… There were already streams of people walking towards this new icon of the west!
Frankly, as an eastie, I really don’t like going to the western part of Singapore because it feels so far away… And of three times I’ve been to the west, I lost my way twice. >_< !

Tada! That’s what happened in the morning when I wasn’t there… So much fun and food!!! hehe…
That’s a charity cut that Jeric has organized for residents of the St. Luke’s home.

They even have something like this in the mall to educate shoppers on the importance of saving energy. I’m impressed! I think we should all do our parts for the environment, else Singapore might even cease to exist in the future..

When Mr. Foong and I saw the egg, we stared blank. Are we supposed to eat the egg raw of something?

Actually, we are supposed to mix the egg and pour it into the the Katsu chicken… I know I’m very sua-ku!
Don’t laugh at me…

This is the signature ice-skating ring at JCube. There’s already a lot of people trying this out on the first day… Wootx!

Oh my…. So cute…..

A view of the bus-interchange from JCube… Really, it’s just across the road from the Jurong East MRT Station / Bus Interchange.

We left this place at about 7.30pm for Katong and there’s still scrolls of car streaming in at the car-park.

We met with Tetsuya (the director of Jeric Salon @ 112 Katong) and went for dinner after that at this Bak Ku Teh place along Joo Chiat road.

This place is super funny. I told the aunty I want “Teh Peng”. She asked me “Ang mo teh huh” ? -_-!
Haha… First time I drink teh-peng got tea bag sticking out one.. So cute… haha…

Good friday people. Hope the long weekend in Singapore has been treating you well. I spotted these two really interesting posts from Tumblr on creating really pretty nails using the hole-puncher rings. ^_^
I’m so going to pull my friends to try it out on them after exams! I’m STRAIGHT! But I just thought it will be really fun! Anyone interested??? Hahahaha
I’ve been wanting to buy something like this – mini perfume container that allows me easy transfer of perfume to it – for a very very long time.. And I finally found it at Gardian by chance yesterday!! ^_^
After working and staying with many people, there’s definitely something that you will not be able to tolerate, and my tolerance on bad smelling people is really really low. I hate being around smelly people… Yes… I feel disgusted!
After a really long week, and exams coming up soon, I decided to unwind one last time before I get into mugging mode. And…. There was this Chinese NS boy who is really needs a shower badly.. Like seriously… Why can’t people keep themselves clean? *disgusted*
I don’t complain much (yeah right), but when i do put it into writing, I’m really good at it! Haha!!!

On a brighter note, a really cute, sweet and BRAVE girl (lets call her cutie pie) approached me with a pickup line. I mean like that’s damn common in Taiwan, but in Singapore, it’s seriously first time. (there was once last year, but the girl was drunk, so not counted)

Legend: Guys represented by bees, and Ladies represented by flowers.
Ok. This was what happened.. There’s these two cute girls (represented by stars) who were near me (represented by smiley) at about 2am and stood near the DJ area. I was busy tweeting (ya I know… Damn loser right… Tweeting in club… Dafaq) , then I exchanged glance with cutie pie’s friends when I looked up. For some reason, she took my hand and cutie pie’s shoulder, and we both damn paiseh. So… I just smile smile and continue to tweet and smile to my phone… The next time I looked up, I was surrounded by guys. Hahaaha… Dafaq… So gay. -_-
Then ten minutes later, she suddenly in front of me… ALONE… Her friend went to dance with bf, pangsei her… And seeing her alone, I just smile smile with her… But she just stood there. So being a complete idiot, I thought she can’t find her friend. So I pointed to her friend and told her, her friend there. Then she ignore me. (・ω・)ノ
Then I thought… Zzzz… So dao… Then I no chap, continue doing my own stuff (not twittering… Don’t laugh at me lah). Few seconds later, she asked me “can you dance with me? My friend dancing with her boyfriend“…

you must be thinking dafaq.. So heng! I didn’t do anything lah. I don’t dance with girls other than my own gf. (don’t say I April fool u or extinct. A lot of people already tried that on twitter). But seriously, I don’t see a point Lah! This is why:

Ok… Guys… And you know why girls all around me? Because I respected them and kept my hands to myself.
Ok… Back to fragrance… (oh my.. Sound like some gaylang hotel chain… Nebermind) I am currently using DKNY, Daviddoff, Burberry, CK-One Summer & Hugo Boss. I really love the CK-One Summer one, but it’s limited edition and no more in production, so seldom use. (ゝ。∂)

And… I just replenished my stock of Sticky Candy…

Priest lah! Although I might be belly beenbo.. But I perfectly straight lah… Straighter than da ruler! I just have a soft spot for cute things.
YAY! My bear iPhone cover (similar to that of 沈杏仁 rilakkuma) has finally came this afternoon, and I scooted right to office to collect it! And I’ve applied a new effect I got on my Lightroom, but I don’t really like it though… Didn’t want to change it since I really wanted to get this post out, cos I’m just sooo excited about this my new case!!
My holidays is coming up in 3 weeks time, and I think I really really really have to go learn how to use my camera better and improve my photo editing skills…

Dean Steve Miller is always so proud of SIS students, and after doing the course of Architecture Analysis, I finally understand this sense of achievement. This course is indeed a great test of team work, co-ordination, determination, ability to find answers to real problems, and produce a solution that is workable. Pardon me for any poor taste of language… After all, it’s 5.27am. But I’m still quite excited and wide awake.

This is one of only two group-study-rooms (GSR) in SMU with air-conditioned switched on after 12 mid-night.

Our own personal air-con unit! Nice!!!

Look at how talented we are? This is the drawing of one of our team-mates which we are waiting for the system to perform automated load-testing… We work hard, but SMART too!

Seldom that you still see these wires around these days yeah!

whoops! the girls having a game of uno while waiting. after all its their last semester… The feeling of working with final year students sometime sucks because their topic of discussion is always so fun… “GRADUATION TRIP!” Urhhh! My time will come soon! ONE MORE YEAR!

My mid-night supper from the vending machines at LKCSB.

Look at the fresh ingredients in there!!!! Mama-mia~

ooooooozzZZzzoooooo

See what I made for the Girls!!! ^_^
All so shyy…..

Spooky dark!

OMG!!! What did Jessie see in there???

It takes a special breed to be a SIS student… We can work hard, till the wee hours, and still have lots of fun!
Conclusion: We are obsessively enjoying what we are doing!
Dear readers, if you have followed me on Twitter (@darrensim), you would have noticed that I’ve been tweeting a lot about relationship and BGR. It not that I’m in a relationship…
Some of my followers on Twitter have asked me to do a post on Romantic SMSes that guys should send… And here’s my first attempt. Let me know if you like it! =)

Loving you could take my life, but when I look into your eyes, I know you’re worth that sacrifice!
A day without your love is a day without life. I can’t wait for the evening to come so that I can give you a big hug!

U may be out of my sight, but not out of my heart. U may be out of my reach, but not out of my mind. I love you baby!
You are always in my heart, here and everywhere, There is no one in the whole world that makes me feel this way. Muahx! <3

Baby.. The thought of being old is really scary. When the time comes, I might forget even my own name. But I just wanted to let you know that no matter what, you will be in my heart forever! <3
If I die and go to heaven, I’ll put your name on a golden star. So that all the angels can see, how much you mean to me.

i may seldom tell u how special u are, i may not be able to reach u coz we’re both busy, but inspite of all, u know u are someone i really miss and care about. <3
i wish i was ur blanket,i wish i was ur bed, i wish i was ur pillow underneath ur head,i wanna b around u,i wanna hold u tight, & b the lucky person who kisses u goodnite

A girl asked a guy, do you want me? He said no. She asked, would you cry if I left? He said no. She asked do you like me? He said no, so she turned round and started to walk away but he grabbed her arm and said, I don’t want you I need you, I wouldn’t cry if you left I’d die, and I don’t like you, I love you, now and forever more.
So many questions, but the answers are so few, all i really know, is, I MISS YOU !

It may sound simple, nothing unique or original… but yet it means so much and take courage to say. I wanna tell you ‘I Miss You Alot!’
A day without your love is a day without life. Promise you will never leave me ok baby?
